Saturday 20th september 

This weekend, our men’s and women’s senior teams played their first matches against German-speaking Swiss teams in the championship.

LNA: NRC vs Zurich: 32-25 / Round 3 Our seniors won their first championship match against Zurich at home. After a first half largely dominated by NRC, the second period proved more thrilling with Zurich equalizing at 25-25. Our LNA players scored a final try in the last minutes to win this beautifully fought battle ⚔️

Excellence A: NRC vs Zurich: 33-46 / Round 3 The Excellence team also faced Zurich rugby club. Despite the unfavorable score, our players did not disappoint on the field. Great performance from our young players newly arrived in the seniors. We never give up 💪

LNFA: Basel Birds vs Mermigans: 15-10 / Round 2 Our women fought well during this match in Basel against the Basel Birds for their second away game. They played nearly half the match with 14 players against 15 and defended well on the field. See you on October 5th at Colovray for their 3rd match of the season, at home, against CERN’s Wild Cats 🏉
