Mid-season review 🏉

Words from the Head Coach of the Seniors in LNA and Exc-A

« Our season started with a mixed feeling of frustration and self-sabotage in our first away match. The potential of this group is great, we can feel it whether in LNA or Excellence. The commitment to the game plan and the dedication of the players present is certain. This LNA group is strong and is currently only exploiting 30% of its potential.

The lack of concentration, individual and collective drive, as well as squad depth have been detrimental to us in this first part of the season, which has prevented us from winning certain important matches, particularly at home. However, this does not call our determination into question.

The content is good but not yet sufficient to be better ranked in the championship. We continue to work with seriousness, respect and humility. The Excellence group is getting stronger match after match and allows us to build on last season’s title. It harbors ambitions and enables us to be competitive with a mindset under construction that will gain momentum while continuing to integrate our promising young players. It’s a committed senior group with bridges between LNA and Excellence. We value our training and performance policy by integrating the U19 category, which participates in certain senior group training sessions, and helps to increase competitiveness. Many young players between 18 and 19 years old have thus been able to experience their first senior caps.

In conclusion, our mindset is good despite a feeling of frustration linked to the results that we want to transform into confidence and victory in part 2. We are determined to redouble our work and commitment individually and collectively with our values, to surpass ourselves in this second part of the season by going after victories, and to continue sharing as many emotions together as we have in recent years with the titles we’ve won. »
